IT'S HERE!!!!!!!

After months of trying and trying, and almost giving up, I finally finish my submod of Monika turning into a SHIMEJI!

You don't need nothing extra! Not even Java or external packages! All you have to do is download the code here! Just read README to make it work!

The shimeji is not mine, it belongs to Childish-N (https://www.deviantart.com/childish-n/art/DDLC-Shimeji-Pack-718209813), but it also includes a version I made

And it works in Windows and Linux (maybe also Mac in a future)

Here I leave a video how it looks like (sorry it has a lot of zoom)

I'm having a bit of trouble comprehending instruction 4 where it says

• "Drag the Shimeji_Submod folder into the main Shimeji folder and, when Windows asks whether to replace or merge files, click "Replace the files in the destination" (without this step, you won't be able to make the submod work)."

what does "the main shimeji folder" refer to? Is it the folder titled "shimeji" in the Shimeji-windows files?

sorry, the instructions are a bit messy, soon I will make a video about it

what it means is that you have to merge both folders (the one you download from Github and the one you have to download from Drive)

inside the shimeji folder, you must have:

• shimeji.rpy
• shimeji_3D (folder)
• shimeji_2D

when i try to test Shimeji-ee.jar after following all the steps, it just loads for a second before giving me two empty logs, im thinking i might have the wrong java version. nothing happens inside MAS either.

mmm interesting, could you show me a screenshot of your shimeji-2D folder, please? also the path where the shimeji-ee.jar is (from "game" to the end of the path)

Okay, Update. after a bit of trial and error i got it to run using a runpet.bat... but i dont have the option in-game to turn her into the shimeji, i can only create it using this.

Hello! I have a few things i can't work with.

• I can't find Shimeji-windows/linux files and the Shimeji_Submod. It only has Shimeji_Submod. Is this okay?
• Shimeji-3D and Shimeji-2D files only contains these things, it doesnt have the shimeji.exe

• i cannot merge Shimeji folders together. It only makes the copy instead of merging

Im still new for downloading submods, but i hope you can help bc this submod is so cute i can't help but wanting it. Thank you!

(hello! first of all, don't worry, englist is not my first language neither)

• About the Shimeji-windows, you can find the drive link in Requirements
• Shimeji.exe no longer exists, so don't worry, what you have inside in the image (the run.bat and Shimeji-ee) it means you downloaded the right version (I have to update the video)

All you have left to do is download Shimeji-windows and merge them together, you will know you have no issue if you double-click that run file you have in the image

hi!! i followed the video and got the shimeji working when i open the .jar to test it, but it doesnt seem like anything in my game changed and i cant ask monika to turn into a shimeji.
heres the shimeji-2d folder and path if thats helpful at all. ive never done submodding before so i dont know how these things work, sorry ^^'
