I’m noticing that there are other torrent apps in the app store now:

nasctl
https://apps.apple.com/au/app/transmission-qbremote-nasctl/id1662428698

Transmission Hub
https://apps.apple.com/au/app/transmission-hub/id6448612045

Your app is so much better, that I sideload it.
I’d love to be able to pay a fee and forget sideloadly (outside the eu).

Any chance that you’d attempt to add this app to the App Store?

I'm glad that you enjoy the app!

I've tried to release qBitControl on the App Store, but Apple won't allow any torrent clients after all. I've even tried removing all instances of word 'Torrent' and replaced it with 'Task', but they still noticed that it is a torrent client. I also mentioned to them that the same two apps that you've linked were allowed on the App Store, but they didn't care.

So how are the other two apps bypassing the Apple screening?

So, no mention of ‘torrent’ in all your source code? torrent regex

Perhaps there are other keywords that trigger it. ‘Tracker’?

I have no idea.

From what I know, Apple doesn't have access to the apps source code.

Perhaps there are other keywords that trigger it. ‘Tracker’?

There might have been some mentions of words related to torrenting, when I've submitted the app for review. However, as far as I know all of the apps are initially reviewed by humans, and given the fact that I've tried to publish the app before, I don't think it would pass the review even if everything was removed.

With the after market certificates I don’t need them on the AppStore but it’s enough to release an update with the working commands ... I use apptesters.org to certify the ipa
