Allow scripting like hexchat\mirc

A few years ago I made a script to automate dcc downloads based on a list given and a approved list of prefixes and formats, then writing out that book as 'done' into a downloaded list so it doesn't get redownloaded.

I could use that to say, download all book authors I was interested in, in a server in epub format, without actually wasting countless hours.

Meanwhile I lost the script and my only device is android right now. Does this program allow the scriptability of hexchat\mirc so I could do something equivalent?
