Maya 2026 support

Hello,

Just like 2025, looks like pymel will need to be updated to work with maya 2026. I am getting similar error about the documentation that I did for 2025. (Cannot find maya documentation. Expected to find it at C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2026\docs\Maya2026\en_US)

Is there anyone out there that can give it the update to work with 2026?

I am getting a similar error. I can't get it to work with 2026.

Any updates? Also as a weird thing, if I disable all the plugins in the plugin manager (i.e unchecked loaded) then I run "import pymel.core as pm", it activates all the plugins in the plugins list, while still resulting in the error mentioned above.

For anyone that would like a temporary workaround to at least stop the documentation error go to wherever your pymel is and go to the cache folder - (/pymel/cache) and duplicate these files, and rename 2025 to 2026

mayaCmdsDocs2025.py
mayaCmdsExamples2025.py
mayaCmdsList2025.py

There may still be issues, as the guide states -- "Cause: The version of PyMEL you are using was created for an earlier version of Maya." The latest update for pymel is for 2025. There may be other things that have been changed in maya that may not work with the version of pymel made for 2025.
