Storage used by Loop is not purged regularly #2388

@marionbarker

Description

@marionbarker

Describe the bug
The size of the Documents & Data store maintained by Loop grows over time. This was reported first in zulipchat: #general > Loop using 3GB of storage with some people reporting several GB of data

  • @ps2 inspected the code and said that the purging of old logs, which should be limit the duration to localCacheDuration, is not performed except when someone issues a Loop Report
  • @elnjensen reported his storage (> 2GB) prevented him from issuing a Loop Report
  • Refer to LoopKit PR for the proposed solution
