What's the status of surfepy?

Hello,

I tried to install surfepy from pypi with: pip install surfepy==0.52 but it seems to be disabled?

I also installed all the packages through conda-forge with the command in the docs conda install -c conda-forge -c loop3d loopstructural but this didn't install it either as conda list shows:

Can anyone advise me on how to use this feature in LoopStructural?

hi @benk-mira,

surfe does still work with LoopStructural but the pypi build is currently broken and I need to fix it. But you should be able to install it using conda install -c conda-forge -c loop3d surfe alternatively just build from source if you have a working C++ compiler.

Thank you for the quick reply! That seems to have gotten me past the install issue, however I think there might be a bug somewhere:

Looks like the support factory for data supported type is returning None:

which gets passed into the surfeRBFInterpolator constructor and fails because there is no nelements.
