🐛 Bug Report

  • 📁 I've Included a ZIP file containing my librephotos log files
  • ❌ I have looked for similar issues (including closed ones)
  • [NA] 🎬 (If applicable) I've provided pictures or links to videos that clearly demonstrate the issue

📝 Description of issue:

When I try to hide or unhide a picture, I get a popup "Failed to parse set photos hidden response
Required at not_updated.0.metadata.camera_display; Required at not_updated.0.metadata.lens_display; Required at not_updated.0.metadata.focal_length_35mm; Required at not_updated.0.metadata.megapixels; Required at not_updated.0.metadata.rating; Required at not_updated.0.metadata.source; Required at not_updated.0.metadata.version; Required at not_updated.0.metadata.has_edits. Please report this issue on GitHub"
If this is relevant the photos I tried to hide had "variants" as they were auto-generated stacks.

I will provide additional info/ debug output but I need guidance to what provide. I feel that contents of the log file is pretty minimal an in particular does not contain that popup message that shows up.

Hide/unhide apparently works when I "select all" photos. But then it hides/unhides literaray all nearly 50k photos. This happens even If I search photos form a particular date (say it finds 98 photos), and after that if I click "select all" I clearly see "98 photos selected" add to album option would create an album with 98 photos, but hide option hides 44367 photos.

🔁 How can we reproduce it:

At my end: select one picture and use "hide"/"unhide" options. I presume these work so something must be special about my use case.
