Lazy Loading of the Graph

We need to provide an endpoint or figure out a mechanism to just retrieve a sub-graph and not load the actual data, just the core entity details and make it available for data exploration phase. The reason is we don't need it to load large tables or make db calls to gather metadata or tables unless the user expects. The APIs already support it, but we need to evaluate how to standardize this through a single API call if possible.
