Hello pyroomacoustics!

Are there plans to support placement of solid objects inside the rooms? Starting with a solid box (same material as wall) of variable size would allow for approximation of "more realistic" rooms with objects in them.

First apologies to @iranroman as you never got a reply, your issue got lost in the stack 😢
@oreneya Thanks for the reminder!

Someone actually started an extension for that kind of things, so you could look into it:
https://github.com/enceladus2000/pra_utils

You can also see issue #220 as it is related.

The solution involved creating list of walls for the room and the obstacle separately. The orientation of the normals is important. They should always point outside the room.
