Code of Conduct


Our Pledge

We, the contributors and maintainers of Eventra, pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We are committed to:

  • Providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
  • Treating everyone with respect and dignity.
  • Encouraging diverse perspectives and contributions.
  • Addressing unacceptable behavior promptly and constructively.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community.
  • Showing empathy towards other community members.

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery.
  • Personal attacks, trolling, or insulting/derogatory comments.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission.
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to:

  • Remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.
  • Ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for behaviors deemed inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces, both public and private, when an individual is representing the project or its community in public spaces, events, or online platforms.


Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at sandeepvashishtha@outlook.in.

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly, fairly, and confidentially. The project team will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the report as soon as possible.
  • Collect any relevant information and context regarding the incident.
  • Evaluate the situation and determine appropriate action based on severity and intent.
  • Communicate the outcome and any actions taken to the reporter, while respecting the privacy of all parties involved.

Possible enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Private warnings or reminders about acceptable behavior.
  • Temporary or permanent removal of offending content (comments, issues, code, etc.).
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of contributor access to the project.
  • Referral to appropriate authorities if legal action is required.

All participants are expected to cooperate in investigations and comply with any decisions made by the project maintainers. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent exclusion from the community.
