AI MCP Proxy plugin passthrough-listener

Hello!

I was reading through this Aggregate MCP tools from multiple AI MCP Proxy plugins guide and I couldn't tell if it's possible to do the same but for existing MCP servers. Meaning, using passthrough-listener mode instead of conversion-only.

In the configuration modes section of the documentation it states:

Use when you need a single MCP endpoint that aggregates tools from multiple conversion-only plugins.

Also,

This mode must be used together with other AI MCP Proxy plugins configured with the conversion-only mode.

I'm wondering if listener mode can also be used with passthrough-listener or only with conversion-only as stated in the docs.

I want to be able to expose various existing MCP servers behind the MCP gateway through a single endpoint.
