Hi, after "using RCall", putting "$" can lead you into embedded R, which means you don't have to write R"" , rimport( ) and other call functions. Would you add such thing? Is it a grammar magic?

I think you are referring to creating a special REPL mode for Python code in Julia, analogous to https://github.com/JuliaInterop/RCall.jl/blob/17551dcd1f5556c35ec5d46f90be930e4898f690/src/RPrompt.jl, which would simply pass through strings to Python analogous to py""" .... """

This could certainly be done without too much difficulty, because it would basically use the existing py""" .... """ functionality.

@229668880, it shouldn't work like RCall with "put" and "get", I think, and in general you should avoid constructing expressions by pasting together strings as much as possible — any time you find yourself doing Meta.parse you should probably be constructing Expr objects. It would make more sense to me to just evaluate code at the Python prompt with a refactored version of the py_str macro, so that it acts exactly like py""" .... """ and you can interpolate Julia values with $

A Python REPL mode would be pretty neat to have, esp. when showcasing Julia / doing demos.
