When the streaming server process isn' t started, client hangs instead of exit.

Can you confirm this is still a problem? I think the root cause may have been the same as #85

It exits fine now. It would be better if it can output some info on why exit.

I agree it would be better to have a more informative message for the user rather than just a generic InvalidStateException. Not exactly sure what that would look like (ie built ontop of Channels or handle it via a call to await_async_request)
