[Feature request] Always show active timers

When logging time on a task/habbit, if I move around in OHT and open other tasks/habbits, the timer stops tracking.

It would be useful to have a top bar (or another graphical means) to always display and allow control of all running timers. This is assuming I can run a timer on one or more habbits at the same time, and one or more tasks at the same time.

I haven't really considered doing mutiple tasks at once. If I start one task I only do that task.

I'm on vacation right now, so I don't really know how much work this would be, but I guess it shouldn't be too hard.

Can you give me a practical example when this would really be useful?

I'm sometimes working on multiple projects at once and want to keep track of my time on each project. I normally track time on only one project at a time, since that's where my focus is. But ocasionally I trigger an automatic action (long running script, CI pipeline, etc.) and switch focus, in that situation I need to track time on both simultaniously.

Ideally I would have tasks part of a project ( like I do now with categories), and when I track time on a task, that time should also be tracked on the relevant project.

In the case of OHT I'm using habits as projects, and tasks as a long todo, of things I need to work on.

I'm pretty sure this is not the exact intended purpose of OHT, but why I'm using it is due to repetitive tasks I have to do on each project (check emails, make phone calls, order materials, check status on things etc) every day.

I've tried using SuperProductivity for this before, but it lacks the concept of repetitive tasks. At least it did last time I checked.

Oh! I never considered using OHT this way. Now even the request for reordering makes sense! (at least more sense than with chores)

I can't promise that I will work on it immediately next week, because I get a new kitchen in my apartment, but I will get on it when I get some free time.

I checked yesterday if there were any changes to SuperProductivity, and wow there were a lot. I'll give it another go for a while.

I recommend you take a look at it, since both apps are very similar in what they offer, but maybe aim for different audiences.

I got to OHT after my wife started using Routinery, and I looked for an open source alternative.
