Can you implement this
override fun onQueryTextSubmit(query: String) = false.

I want to capture Search button on the keyboard.

Use the following:

searchView.queryTextChangeEvents()
    .subscribe { event: SearchViewQueryTextEvent ->
        if (event.isSubmitted) {
         
        }
    }
