Hello,
After much hesitation, I have finally taken the leap into the world of Valetudo.
I successfully rooted the device using a Breakout PCB and fastboot, and also installed the latest version of Valetudo. However, the robot is not being detected by the web browser or the Valetudo app.
I have tried to access the robot via SSH and run Valetudo manually (/data/valetudo), but it results in the error shown in the attached file. I've overwritten the Valetudo file several times, but the same issue persists.
I have spent nearly a week trying to solve this.
Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Judging by the locale of the windows in the background, it is possible that it's an X40 with a device ID I haven't seen before.

What are the contents of /data/config/miio/device.conf?

Interestingly, another person showed up on the support chat with the same issue on a newly bought unit.
Perhaps they've changed something? What's the manufacturing date on the box?

Either way, that will be fixed with the next version of Valetudo.
Until then, you can edit the /data/valetudo_config.json and change the auto implementation to DreameX40UltraValetudoRobot

While I can't confirm the manufacturing date, I purchased it in early 2024.
I'm happy to report that it's now working perfectly after following your guide.
