Create comprehensive release process documentation for contributors.

Tasks:

  • Document version numbering
  • Explain release types
  • Detail commit message format
  • Add changelog guidelines
  • Include release checklist
  • Document git hooks usage

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Documentation is accessible in repository
  • Version numbering scheme is clearly explained
  • Release process is documented step-by-step
  • Examples provided for all commit types
  • Troubleshooting guide included
  • Emergency release procedure documented
  • Documentation passes vale linting
