Set up Pixi for cross-platform development environment management.

Tasks:

  • Create pixi.toml configuration
  • Configure Rust toolchain integration
  • Set up platform-specific build tools
  • Configure development dependencies
  • Set up environment caching
  • Document environment setup

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Environment works on Windows, macOS, and Linux
  • Rust toolchain properly managed
  • Build tools available per platform
  • Cache improves setup speed
  • New developer setup is automated
  • Documentation is complete
