Do the vst3 expect the models to be placed in a certain folder, so I don't have to look for them all the time I'm adding one of your vst3s?

@Petervos2018 thanks for reaching out, the first time you load SmartPedal it will look on the Desktop by default. You can then use the "Load Model" button to select a new default folder for that instance of the plugin. It should save this location if you save your DAW session. If you copy and paste that instance of the plugin it should also keep that same folder location. If you load a new session with a new instance of SmartPedal you'll have to set the folder again. Currently there is a bug where if the GUI isn't opened and you load a save DAW session it won't load the folder, but will load once you view the plugin. This is on my to-do list to fix.

Hope that helps, perhaps in a future version I'll have it look in a more convenient default location, something like ~/Documents/GuitarML/SmartPedal like I do with NeuralPi.

It would be nice if you have to set the location only once 😎

There is a "Standard" vst3 preset location like this :

C>users>user name>documents>vst3 presets> so I think,

~/Documents/VST3 Presets/GuitarML/SmartPedal could be the way to go.

Thanks for answering, and have a nice evening

Peter.
