quality of viewport denoiser is extremely bad

i'm on 3.3.1.5
the quality of the viewport denoise and upscale option is incredibly bad... it looks like tiny jpg from late 90s
there are no options to change anything . Maybe disabling upscale would help already.

thanks for the report, is it possible you can provide a screen shot? there is a known bug that artefacts will appear when using denoiser in Viewport
render.
