Which PaperQA capabilities are most worth exposing in a simple UI?

I’ve built a small app on top of PaperQA - https://github.com/boardtc/pdf-research-assistant. At the moment it provides:

• a Streamlit UI
• a simple CLI
• optional manifest.csv support for curated scope and metadata

I’m still new to PaperQA, so I don’t want to pretend I know which options and capabilities are most important to expose in an app like this.

I’ve now created a backlog of GitHub issues for possible features and improvements for the app, and I’d really value input from people who know PaperQA better than I do (i.e. everyone):

If any of the ideas look useful, please vote on the relevant issue with a thumbs-up reaction.

Anyone who thinks this tool could be useful is very welcome to open a new GitHub issue for an idea that isn’t already in the backlog.

Pull requests are also welcome for both existing issues and new ideas.
