APP CRASHES, IRRESPONSIVE WHEN OPENING SOME JPG FILES

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. OPEN APP
2. TRY TO OPEN ANY JPG FILES ( CAMSCANNER JPG OUTPUT FILES IN MY CASE), APP CRASHES.

Expected behavior

The app crashes or becomes unresponsive when opening certain JPG files exported from cam scanner Android app.

Actual behavior

When we export images from camscanner Android app (https://www.camscanner.com/) then some of those images crash this gallery app(When I try to open those files jpg), Unfortunately I cannot share those jpg files as they are related to my bank account.

1. Can you open this file in any other Gallery app?
2. What do you mean by exporting images in Camscanner? Have you used Save to Gallery?

1. Yes, I can open those JPG files in other gallery apps. 2. App called cam scanner, it optimises and enhances photos of documents nature. 3. I cannot share the jpg files, as these files are my bank account related. I have attached the recorded video of the bug.

I have also reset the app and re installed the app many times and I have also tested it on different mobile, your gallery app cannot open these photos but other galleries easily open them.

I know, you gave a link to that app in your bug report. I was asking what exactly were you doing in CamScanner. When I used that app I haven't seen export option, just Save to Gallery and it was saving in its own directory called CamScanner, not in Screenshots. Also, I scanned some documents and all the JPEGs were working fine in Fossify Gallery. That's why I'm asking for more reproduction details if you can't share a file.

Yes, save to gallery option. Those photos that I have are from previous versions of CamScanner app, actually I found this bug by accident, today I went to my bank for some document submission, and there I search my bank documents in the gallery app but your gallery app was not opening those document then I tried another gallery app called quick pic it easily opened those documents.
