mpe Pitch Bend is broken in bitwig #38
Comments
Still broken in 1.0.7 |
I recognized the same, but its only for presets that have MPE stored as on. If you switch it off and on again, it will be as expected. Of course that needs to be done each time you open your session for all instances. |
This is still broken and a show stopper. It should be easy to fix, as its just a missing initialisation. What I do by hand - switch off/on MPE - could be done on loading the patch... |
No I'm set to 48 (default value witch works with every mpe synth on my setup ) Open bitwig set a new track with wavetable Enable mpe in the bitwig inspector and in wavetable menu. Mpe pitch bend is ok now. Save the preset . Mpe pitch bend broken (as if huge mismatch) Disable mpe in wavetable menu and then enable it again. Now mpe pitch bend works ok Bitwig 5.0.9 wavetable 1.17 win10 |
This should be labeled as a bug. Its still not working in 1.0.18. |
Tested mpe playing in bitwig 5.0.4 and the pitch bend range seems to be way off, like a crazy 12 octave range.
Works fine in repear 6.82
