Microsoft Defender blocking update of tabby

I have Tabby version 1.0.215 running on my Windows machine. I have enabled Automatic Updates to get the latest version, but it isn't updating.

I tried to manually install the latest Tabby version (1.0.224) by downloading the executable file and running it. This method used to work well for me, but now I encounter an error from Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, which blocks the installation due to an unverified publisher.

It would be a hassle for me to get it whitelisted in Microsoft Defender, as an organisation-wide policy at work governs it.

Any idea why we are starting to see these failures now and what other options we have to bypass this ?

I don't see an option for "Run it anyway" in this dialog box.
