For example saying "slash" transcribes it as "/" instead of the actual word?

Whispering has an optional "Transformation" step that is applied to the transcription results.

You can either do a basic replace or LLM transformation. The LLM transformation may be more context-aware (realize sometimes you don't want to convert all slash text to /)
