Many workshops have additional requirements, e.g. some language workshops require a CV written in the corresponding language and the Informatics Workshop sends an online quiz. We should somehow make some information available to applicants after they have selected their workshops.
My first idea is to (ab)use the localization system so that __('application.description_informatics') would be the description for the Informatics Workshop etc. And this would be displayed prominently at the top of the Files page; that is where they upload CVs.
What do you think?

Let's collect all the different requirements first and see what we can do.
I'm afraid we would end up with conflicting requirements.
The simplest solution could be to display additional text based on the selected workshops, so we don't need to abuse anything.
I've heard that the language-specific CVs have been cancelled by workshop leaders; so only the IT-specific one remains. So this is not that important for now.
In the case of the IT workshop it is not an additional file but rather some information that there will be an additional task that they need to plan with. We could probably place the text here:
Or here:
I think jerry-rigging it temporarily is also a solution here.
