[FEATURE] Manually lower.compile to avoid initial compilation and time compilation

It would be great to manually compile ahead of time so we can time it accurately and it doesnt effect initial speed.

I have added the utility to perform compilation in PR #177 , once thats merged, we should decide if we want to do this

If I recall correctly, this also lets you see the estimated FLOP and memory usage, which would be helpful for diagnosing memory-related errors. I'd love to see this!
