EOPF Sentinel data and others even if processed differently (additional/other processing: extension information, ...) if the data should represent a dataset that has been acquired at the the same timestamp with same sensor and co. the STAC metadata should mimic the structure and values of CDSE (EC as owner endorsed archive). So that users can directly compare/choose the "same" data from different sources.
For many (new) users this would offer an option to use the same data (they have been using) from EOPF source. As well as have consistent metadata across these two data provider endeavors. Also I believe the EOPF processing results should/might be integrated into CDSE as collections at some point.
