Running Debian on the "testing" channel (trixie) and whenever I try using 'adb devices' to look for a connected hotspot, adb fails with the following:
List of devices attached eb9f484b no permissions (missing udev rules? user is in the plugdev group); see [http://developer.android.com/tools/device.html]
My user on my laptop is indeed in the plugdev group, but I did notice there are no udev rules for this device set at all, and this isn't mentioned in the documentation. I don't know if this would affect other Linux distros, but a script to set the udev rules would be useful for potential users.
