Snowy Leaves Not Melting Properly

What happened?

I use serene seasons, and when winter comes, the snowy leaves never melted properly back to normal leaves. This is almost certainly an issue with serene seasons and not promenade, however maybe there's a slight issue regarding the detection of top snow on the leaves creating snowy leaves? Not entirely sure.

The only way I could remove the snow from the leaves when spring came ingame was either placing torches all around the trees or to just remove the trees.
