ghc-mod has parse error on --*

Usage of alphapapa/outshine (example article) is very useful for Haskell code work/documentation.

Overall what it does - adds to Emacs a --* , --** comment markup as headers for different levels allowing to structure and show only parts of code needed.

I have the LSP HIE setup.
Emacs parsing returns:
ghcmod: parse error on input '--*'
