Casing connected textures not consistent with base Create casings #7

Hi, I realize that this github is not very active, but I thought I would ask anyways. Perhaps someone with more coding skill can offer an explanation and I could compile my own version.

Anyways. In base create, if you use andesite casings on cogs, the top faces of the casings all connect together. I would expect the same behavior of the glass casings, but this doesn't seem to happen. (See screenshots included below). It seems that Crystal Clear treats glass casings without a cog and glass casings with a cog as different, so the textures do not connect.

Version info:
Minecraft Forge 47.4.0
Create 0.5.1.j
Create: Crystal Clear 2.1-Beta

No other mods installed

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Create and Create Crystal Clear.
  2. Place down two cogs with a gap in between them.
  3. Place "regular" andesite casings on the cogs and in the block between. Note the textures connect.
  4. Place glass andesite casings on the cogs and in the block between. Note the textures do NOT connect.

Expected behavior: To maintain parity with Create, textures of encased cogs/shafts/etc should connect with textures of casings without cogs/shafts/etc.
