Setting default values when navigating around.

go over the different components, and set defaults on unmount. 


example:
when leaving either new participant or existing participant route, set a default participant. 

when leaving existing participant, set default visit. 


check for others

I think the participants array can retain the results  going from participants to existing participant and back. otherwise, remove.
