Cannot see the scene list when using a hue room (beta 3)

According the documents I should see the possibility to get a drop down, but I don't see that option.

Hi! Have you cleared your browser cache? You can check the version number at the bottom of the Bubble Card editor to be sure.

I'm really sorry but I think I will give up, this is probably not possible to do this reliably, for example your Standaard scene is scene.eetkamer_kerst and not scene.eetkamer_standaard, I understand that I could use the entity name because this one is correct (Eetkamer Standaard) but if someone modify it, my whole code will be useless.

Oh, that you should ignore... I recently changed my scenes in the HUE app and HA, the names are updated automatically, however the enityId stays the same as that is used in automations. This is a mess up from my side. So this will normally not be the case. In principal the scene names and the entity.scene_name should be identical. This is how it works by default, it is some history I am cleaning up.

Because it makes no sense to have the two different, so this could be a requirement for usage?

But yeah, I do understand ;-)

I will reconsider this at some point if more users ask for that feature, but for now I prefer to let it like this. This case is way more complex than all the other cases 😅

Fair enough, I'll keep using my template-select workaround then... as long as it does what it needs to do :-) Thanks for looking at it though.. much appreciated. I finally have a stable and working dashboard, which is a first since my HA journey for many years...

I actuall want to do the same thing, but been having hard time making it work as well. below is the screen shot of how I got the hue scenes to show, but selecting does not do anything. I chose Select card and just edited so I can change from effect to hue scene.

for Hue lights that are paired to hue hub, there is no effect_list, instead there is hue_scenes:. hope this helps

any help would be greatly appreciated, I have over 50 Hue lights and would love to be able to make it simpler to change the scenes from the same dashboard.
