Hi everyone, and welcome to the NyxID GitHub Discussions.

What is NyxID?

NyxID is an open-source identity and credential brokering platform built for the AI agent era. Think of it as the missing layer between your AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, n8n workflows, custom MCP servers) and the external services they need to call (APIs, databases, internal tools).

The problems we're solving:

• Per-agent credential isolation — each agent gets its own scoped API key with rate limits, audit attribution, and credential bindings. No more sharing one master key across every agent.
• On-prem credential nodes — keep secrets on your own infrastructure while still routing requests through a managed control plane.
• MCP-native proxy — turn any REST API or self-hosted service (n8n, OpenClaw, internal tools) into an MCP-compatible endpoint your agents can call safely.
• Channel integration — receive and route messages from Telegram, Discord, Lark, OpenClaw channels into your agent workflows with HMAC verification.

Status: Closed Beta

We're currently in closed beta with invite-only signup. If you'd like to try it:

• Get an invite: comment in this thread or open a Q&A discussion telling us your use case (n8n, Claude Code, custom agents, etc.) — we'll send a code
• Self-host: the source is on this repo, Apache 2.0 licensed, see the README for setup

We're keeping the beta intentionally small (target: high-touch 1:1 onboarding for the first ~30 users) so we can fix friction quickly. As we stabilize, invites will open up — referrals from existing users jump the queue.
