This is pretty much #1811.

There are many registry key changes and some other things here and there that are agrouped with the "Disabled Telemetry" setting. Those are good things, don't get me wrong (such as LongPathsEnabled), but it doesn't make logical sense to agroup them together with telemetry deactivation.

It seems that it is agrouped with that because it is probably the most common option that users will use, so everyone gets those options applied.

Hi,

This is a serious issue. Please look after it because a few things are changed that has nothing to do about telemetry that could lead to issues depending of the randomness of everyone’s systems, like :

IRPStackSize
SystemResponsiveness
NetworkThrottlingIndex

And there’s more.

While the merged PR is a nice step in the right direction, it also doesn't remove any of the things that have been mentioned by @Tiagoquix and @Emralegna, plus lots of other things that have no business being part of "Disable Telemetry", like ShowTaskViewButton, or EnthusiastMode just to name a few.

This issue shouldn't be closed yet.
