Thanks for reporting. Topic naming errors have been addressed multiple times recently:

• PR fix: fall back to first message text when topic naming fails #12849 — Fallback to first message text when naming fails
• PR fix: Use default assistant for topic auto-renaming #13387 — Stop inheriting custom assistant parameters for topic naming
• PR fix: propagate actual stream errors instead of generic NoTextGeneratedError #13542 — Propagate actual stream errors instead of generic "No output generated"

All three fixes are included in v1.8.1. Could you provide:

1. The exact error message shown in the toast?
2. Which model/provider is configured as your "Quick Model" for topic naming? (Settings → General → Quick Model)
3. Is the Quick Model's API key valid and working for normal chat?

This will help us determine if this is a new root cause or a configuration issue.
