Unable to get all the submodules

I am not able to get all the submodules in Yosemite. I downloaded all the submodues separately and copied to the folder from ChatSecure git repository. But the version differs from the spec and the actual version of the submodule like We need XMPPFramework 3.6.4 but i got XMPPFramework 3.6.6. The same problem is there for Yapdatabase also. Please tell me how to solve it.

Did you manage finally? I ran into the same problem as well. Using latest git 2.6.3

Nevermind. I managed by editing .git/config file. Had to add full url.
