[Bug]: claude code reauthentication needed

What happened?

Docs say: Each command launches a sandbox with the respective coding agent pre-installed and configured. Your existing credentials (from claude login, codex login, etc.) are forwarded into the sandbox automatically — no re-authentication needed.

my experience has been that claude code starts as if completely fresh install and i have to login

Steps to reproduce

smolvm claude start
launch
claude code opens and asks to login

Expected behavior

claude code should open without asking to login
