Hello;

Seems that my attempts to install 1.12.2 have all resulted in fails with the message

"Spigot has failed to compile" showing up

This is due to 1.12.2 depending on a very old / obsolete version of Java. I'll try to come up with a way to remedy this in a future release. Meanwhile, you should be able to choose Cuberite which is locked to 1.12 and works since it does not use Java.

You should as well add support for a "java" based server cores on this version because Cuberite not the best choose beacuse it's only supported by specially written plugins for it
edit: oh and only on this version of Minecraft there are "BIG" mods like Industrial Craft 2, Galacticraft, ThaumCraft, Applied Energistics 2, and much much more...
