  • Support for Chef provisioners
  • Support for Puppet provisioners
  • Support for Ansible
  • Support for choosing to export to VirtualBox, VMWare, or Amazon, normal ovf format, etc
  • Allow advanced user to choose if custom scripting is done in packer, vagrant, or both.
    • At the vagrant level could allow users to reset environments more quickly. At the packer level could make them easier to distribute. As a result, some stuff should be done in packer and others in vagrant for the quickest workflow.
