The Xvfb trick to get oneswarm running works, but I am on the impression that it doesn't automatically rescan for new files, it seems that this action is triggered by opening the web page.

yup, this is a bug.

to fix: need to move MagicDirectoryManager.get(); (and the metaInfoPruner init) from startBackend() to somewhere even if web UI is never started

Any news on that one? Otherwise oneswarm is somewhat unusable on headless mode :(
