Description
It's a tough balance between being beginner-friendly and introducing too much detail. However, there are a couple things related to mounting media that might be worth including even if they're already in "Tutorial: guidance for quantitative confocal microscopy".
- Hardening leading to shrinkage / compression

- Curing time for hardening mounting media
- Sealing coverslips
- A grand list of incompatibilities between fluorophores and mounting media (e.g. glycerol and lipophilic dyes, a Vectashield variant and AF647) located in the appendix? It's a big ask, but maybe with crowdsourcing, this can be done?
Do any of these sound reasonable? If so, I'm happy to suggest text.
