Debugging

Xylobot:

Rhythms seem off/notes not playing:

• Run TestCode file; Xylobot should play a chromatic scale. Identify the specific notes that aren't playing. You may then need to slide the spacers on the solenoid pins, or replace solenoids if the whole solenoid doesn't work

Not playing at all:

• Verify wall power is connected (plug plugged into wall, all wires connected)
• Verify Arduino cable and MIDI cable connected to computer USB
• Verify code is running

Other percussion robots:

Not playing anything:

• Verify Arduino power cables connected to computer USB
• Verify MIDI daisy chain assembled correctly (MIDI cable from previous instrument MIDI through to currently non-functioning instrument MIDI in)
• Verify that the code you're running is supposed to include percussion bots playing. An example of this is the interactive demo

Sticks moving but not hitting drum (if overhitting or not lifting from drum, do the opposite):

• Slide sticks out until they do
• Worst-case, go into the Arduino code, change servo values, redownload to Arduino
