It’d great if I can use my iPhone/iPad to 1) control ToneX one via MIDI (either USB or Bluetooth) , 2) process USB audio signal from ToneX one with AUv3 effects, and 3) supply power to ToneX one via the hardware platform for Builty. Does anyone know any Builty compatible hardware to make this happen? |

You can control Tonex One with this project via Web interface through WiFi. I have been researching the topic of controlling Tonex through USB-C on iOS devices recently. Due to Apple limitations It is not possible even for IK Multimedia to do it on iPhone. It could be done for iPad using DriverKit, but the documentation is sparse and the implementation is not a quick thing to do. For processing the audio signal from Tonex, this is not the right project for it. I don't know if there even is an USB audio driver available for the ESP32. |

Some people have gotten some parts of USB audio going on ESP32, but I agree its not really the right fit for the controller. It would also consume a lot of resources. Maybe the high sample rate would be too much. |

IK Multimedia use a 400 Mhz processor in the pedals with no display, WiFi or Bluetooth to get in the way of audio processing.
