Heidelberg Energy Control is loosing Energy Meter Value

Hi Boris,

Today, I have switched off the main fuse to the Energy Control for about one hour. After switching on again, the energy Meter lost nearly 60 kWh. Do you know, what‘s going wrong? Normally this type of value will not be lost, respectively is stores in the wallbox?!

Hi Jürgen,
as you correctly mentioned, the value is stored in the wallbox in a persistent memory. So it should not be affected by power loss.
HeidelBridge on the other hand does not store that value. It reads it directly from the wallbox register. Thus HeidelBridge should not be responsible here...

Hi Jürgen,
i have the same issue. My energy meter lost 25 kWh. This is also shown with another modbus gateway. So Heidelbridge seems not to be responsible. As you mentioned , normally this type of value will not be lost, respectively is stored in the wallbox. My wallbox is running over 3 years. Since Februar this year it is running with Heidelbridge. This is the first time I have this issue and I can't understand it

Thanks for your feedback. Strange behavior and still no logical explanation found. Must be something in the bus of the wallbox?!

Hi, this is a known problem. The walbox only stores the value to the persistent memory, when entering standby. But after entering standby, the wallbox is unresponsive to modbus. So it kept active. After powerloss, it uses the last saved value.
I'm using a homeassistant helper (energy counter), which only counts up but ignores the jump to the last known value. I think its the option "Regelmäßige Rückstellung"
