Set Vertex Flow - Runtime Error in 4.4

Set vertex flow does not work in 4.4 currently. After initiating bpy.ops.mesh.align_vertex_curve(), I receive the following error:

Python: RuntimeError: could not create instance of MESH_OT_align_vertex_curve to call callback function 'invoke'
