There are two actions. One for changing custom mode presets and one for changing power mode (to custom). Of course changing custom presets when not in custom mode doesn't really do anything. |

Heya again, Ok that makes sense. Is there any way to make it so ToolKit will let us switch to a custom power plan while on battery power then? It looks like there are other programs that let you undervolt etc no matter what... and well, I LOVE Toolkit's ability to set actions to set actions up. I have like 4 actions set up already :-) |

Heya,
I'd really like to undervolt my laptop when running on battery so I can make the battery last longer. Toolkit gives us the option to run an action to switch to a Custom mode preset when something happens (ergo, AC power is unplugged)
But, the Dashboard is saying the computer is still in Quiet mode.
Also, it appears like we can't change to a Custom mode via the dashboard unless AC power is connected.....
So, is the action I set to change to a custom mode when I unplug the AC actually doing anything?
If not, is there any way to make it so we can use custom modes on battery power? Yes, I know overvolting would drain the battery faster but.... I think most of us would want to undervolt so we get more time on battery.
