[Phone Connect] [KDE connect] DankBar Widget and Control Center button incorrectly indicates no device connected

Observation of the issue:

[Control Center Button]

However, kde connect fully works and is able to communicate with my phone as seen by the dashboard of the dankbar widget despite having the mismatched icon:

One fixed I tried from a person who previously had this issue (and posted it on github):
Removing the selectedDeviceId from ~/.config/DankMaterialShell/plugin_settings.json.
This didn't work.

I got a workaround:

rm ~/.config/DankMaterialShell/plugin_settings.json
dms restart

Then enable your plugins.
