How can I switch the system language?

Well, i read that DMS supports multi-language, but how can i switch to another language, default is US

If you're using Niri, edit your configuration file:

~/.config/niri/config.kdl

For example, I added Greek as a second keyboard layout and configured Alt + Shift to switch between English and Greek:

input {
    keyboard {
        xkb {
            layout "en,gr"
            options "grp:alt_shift_toggle"
        }

        numlock
    }
}

• layout "en,gr" enables both English and Greek keyboard layouts.
• options "grp:alt_shift_toggle" lets you switch between them using Alt + Shift.

Ok I am on the git release i switch the locale to american english and it still shows en-US even after restarting dms

Why wouldn't it show en-US, that's what American English is?

Omg I thought this was on my issue I opened. Mb. My issue was that I want it to show only US and not en-US

Oh, dang. Yea, that's not a configurable user facing option yet. You can also simply remove the widget from your bar if you'd like. Good luck!
